as long as senior leaders of this club are not welcoming to new members, this club is doomed to die a slow and horrible dead NO MATTER WHAT THE WEBSITE LOOKS LIKE!!!

Case in point. Imagine sitting at one of the concession tables during the last convention with two of your chipping buddies (who by the way are members and one has volunteered two years in a row.), conversing over the chips you've scored and the gaps you've filled in your sets. Having a great time. then just imagine... having the conversation interrupted by someone loudly accusing you of making a transaction on the floor of the convention because THEY thought THEY saw money exchanged between two of those sitting at the table. Yes, chips were being passed amongst us, but no cash... What the F*#K? amiright? This person sitting 15 to 20 feet away? A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE CLUB, and SUPPOSEDLY, respected MEMBER, coming at the three of us like a JUNIOR HIGH Vice Principal going after a tardy student. This person disrespected and insulted the three of us with his accusations despite our attempts to clarify the situation. He saw this, i quote "with his own two eyes", from 15 to 20 feet away... his accusations was just plain wrong. He has NO respect for newer members of the club. ... He just turned and rolled off.

Here's a teaching moment for this "Leader" of the CLUB. Instead of coming at the three of us with accusations, he should have rolled up, introduce himself and explained what he "THOUGHT" he saw, and explain what the expectations were of transactions on the convention floor... BUT NO... He acted like an ASSHAT that soured the convention for me. Not speaking for my buddies, but I for one WILL never promote this club again while this "LEADER" is a member. He knows who he is.

The three of us are owed a apology as many witnessed the interaction.
