In my opinion, and I've been selling since I was five years old; it's your gig and you should set the rules and nobody else... just like everyone here is aware with most online auction sites and personal websites.

Whatever an item it may be that someone likes/wants here; if it's offered for sale or not... they will contact you with a proposal... and, if you're searching for that best offer where both you and the buyer will be happy, you should not feel the need to let anyone know what you are willing to accept for it in most cases.

When you got something someone wants, you don't have to do anything -- they will do whatever it takes to make that item theirs if they want it... I do, always...!
