What I'm saying is....there are many errors on both guides. There are a lot of contributions that people thought to be true because someone said it was true. And those people might of been told by someone else. Someone could of bought a chip from Modesto, Ca and told people....Hey, I picked this chip up in Modesto, Ca. So people look for an association to Modesto.
And then there were guys who made up ID's to sell a chip. It's easier to sell a chip if you have know where it's from. Those ID's were made many years ago and have become legend and almost impossible to have the chipping community accept change.
There is enough info to write a book...but that most likely will not happen....it's just a hobby for me.. 😀
