Hah! Tell your daughter that although I do have a few friends who still call me Larry as a joke nickname, I am not the Veggietales Mike Nawrocki...

Funny story about how I found out about the "other" Mike Nawrocki...

In the late 90's, I was working on a project at Compaq Computer in Houston. I gave a presentation one day and later that afternoon I received an email from a lady whom I did not know (I later find out that she was part of the group I presented to) that simply said "Are you Larry the cucumber, I NEED TO KNOW"...

Not having any idea about Veggie Tales at the time, this came across as a very odd and concerning e-mail. After ignoring it, another e-mail from Marcia shows up about 3 hours later, saying "Please let me know"..

Later that night I share the odd emails with friends of mine, to ask how I should deal with this clearly deranged 'stalker'.... Luckily one of them was familiar with Veggie Tales and although he didn't know the names of the producer or voices, he did realize 'Larry the cucumber'....

So a bit of research later that night, put all the pieces together and the next day I shared the news that I wasn't Larry.

Almost 20 years later this lady still posts Happy Birthday Larry on my Facebook page.
