This is a Paulson style 43 mm Year of the Snake sample made by GPI. Chip is gold with 4 half-moon red inserts split with yellow. Marked No Cash Value just in case some casino did order the chip in those colors. Mold is inverted H&C.

Looks like they trained a snake to lie in a double coil and make it an $8 chip. Didn't Gaming prohibit the use of commemorative chips in values that had no practical gaming purpose? Then again, maybe is this is one way around the regulation since it does say NCV and has no dollar sign.
