Jay, certainly not the way it is supposed...

to be.

Scans submitted to ChipGuide, via the website, go into a queue that is visible to all Admins. The Admins tend to look at the queue on a regular basis, looking for submissions within their "area" of responsibility. But, on a first come, first served basis, an Admin will put the scan into the ChipGuide Development tool and then the next day it appears in the public, on-line version of ChipGuide.

In your instance, I do not know what happened, but I do know that from time-to-time, during the process of moving a scan into the Development version, an Admin can get interrupted and sometimes fail to get back into the system to complete the move.

Also, chips acquired by Admins will sometimes get preference by that Admin to be entered into ChipGuide, unaware of past actions to submit.

In this instance, I will apologize for any oversights and would hope that you and others will continue to share information (scans and research) to ChipGuide. Moreover, I will also send a link of this post to the ChipGuide Admin Supervisor.

Thank you,

Jim
