I believe Tony Flores owned the cardroom

which was CashCoinConnection indicates was located within the Main Event even back then. Tony may also have been involved with the Flores Card Room that had TONY chips. He later moved on to the Sierra Room in downtown Hanford (it was a bar, don't think they had card games). And still later, Tony opened the Iron Horse Saloon on East Lacey Street, next to my house up there. He liked nibbling away at my property, taking an extra square foot or two at a time. We also "shared" a common water well. Finally, when he tried to appropriate half of my driveway and fence it off, I sued him and the State Alcoholic Beverage Commission in the Mother of All Land Rights Cases, which I won. We didn't speak much after that and eventually he retired and sold the business to his son who in turn sold it to others. So I never had the opportunity to ask old Tony about his cardrooms - wasn't collecting back then. He probably had enough stories to make Banquet Speaker of the Year.
