I was in Omaha seeing my grandchildren when I heard about Gene.

Was literally sitting at a Sonic Drive In with my 7 year own grandson when I got the news and tears started flowing.
My grandson had to quickly be reassured he hadn't done anything wrong!

I don't have words to express my sadness - not only to his family - but the chipping/ gaming collectibles communities.

I am sorry for posting so late.

He contacted me when I was a new collector and asked for my address so he could send me some free chips.
As a single female - I recall reading this offer and wondering if this was for real. Was it safe? Was he trying to sell me something??

My chips arrived with a wonderful assortment of casino, UFC's, an illegal and other goodies.

Thank you Mr. Trimble for always helping. Always encouraging. Always knowing ALMOST EVERYTHING! ;)
And most of all - for leading by example.
