Reggie.....we have a serious problem trying to identity were the chips were used. Most of these chips were sent to a household that you would have a hard time associating with that particular club. And a lot of the Chinese chips used in the San Francisco area were all sent to a Club Supply Co. (I will leave that name out as I am still researching) That supply Co. has at least 3 different addresses in the 1950's.(maybe more...so it could of been a "dummy" corporation) The guy who ran that " Supply Co." is listed in the directory 4 times...so there are 4 guys with the same name or he more than 1 place. Still trying to sort all that out. Hopefully I will know more in the next month or two which guy that was?
Also....it seems that every time a Chinese chip is discussed....most people will refer to Locke. I hear over and over..."Oh....that is from Locke." Well...Locke is a notorious Chinese gambling town.....but couldn't have had all of these chips used there.
We also have a serious problem with California chip ID's. People 20+ years ago decided to put locations with chips. (So they could sell a chip) Those ID's are now legend and will never be changed...even with evidence. Many of those attributes are wrong....very wrong.
