all of the money in players' accounts, the owners and investors were still be paid large sums. It's not certain whether they knew what was going on. In fact, it appears that the guy who ran the day-to-day operations was the one really at fault. People are still angry at the owners, though, and possibly with good cause. Unlike others, Ferguson never made any public statements when the site was shut down, or since, for that matter.
