These were the first metal center type chips that Bud Jones made. Both the Frontier and the Four Queens have a smooth non-spun coin-inlay that has full black letters on both sides. Both have a colored center layer that matches the insert colors as did all the early Bud Jones CIC chips. These are Used EXC chips, hard to find with intact black letter on both sides. These have incuse DIECAR molds and were made in 1973.
