What sad news today. Gene was one of the first chip collectors I met at my first convention in 2013. But before that I had read all of his IOTDs and followed his comments on the Chipboard. He taught me so much about illegals and was always willing to answer questions and ID chips. The hobby is fortunate to have had his expertise and experience. He will be missed.
