Andy the first time I met you was in Gene's office at the Palm's. You were there to pick up some chips.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but want to share some of my memories of Gene.

I first met Gene in 1998 when he worked at the Fiesta. We would trade chips. I would go into the Keno/Bingo area and tell Gene I was there. He would sit me at a table in the restaurant next door and say I will be right back. We traded illegals back then. Chip for chip. He would come in with white boxes of chips, I gave him the few I brought with me and always left owing him chips.

While the Palms was being built and Gene was not working we would meet in parking lots to trade chips.

Once the Palms was built and I had a house there I would often meet Gene in his office. I met many chippers there for the first time. Spent lots of time and many of lunches with him.

I can go on and on talking about Gene.

Gene, Thanks for the memories. You will be missed.
