...have known Gene for a lot of years. Even before I got into chip collecting 22 years ago. I first met him through poker. Gene was always good to me, any time I would ask for something, either chip or poker related he would help me out if he could. I was just talking about him last night with my friend Mary Kenniston, at her house while playing pool. Mary was a professional pool player at one time, but also dealt poker. Gene hired her at the Palms a number of years ago.

Gene will never be replaced in this hobby. Nobody had more knowledge or enthusiasm than he did. The void he leaves is immense. RIP, Gene...
