First off, their was excitement, fun, trading, chip talk all like a bunch of kids with all their toys during the social hour. Vicki my wife came as a guest. She was to attend the convention on Saturday, but became ill on Wednesday when I left. This was now her chance to see club activities, she was impressed to say the least and was very social too. I found some great chips to show my grand children, hopefully they will gain some interest. The meeting was well organized and conducted. The guest speakers were so good and interesting as Jim said, it seemed that everyone wanted to ask questions. They had everybody's attention. Drawings and raffle, hey lucky me I rarely ever win a raffle. The auction was good, I was out bid on two items. But I had to bid on the Slot Glass when the bidding stopped at $3.00, finally I won a bid $4.00 Slot Glass, didn't need it but it looks good so I stole it.
