Dear Chippers,

It does my heart good to see so many Chippers still on the board. I thought this the best way to reach many of you without being so public as to post to FB.

We're all very saddened that Greg's mother, Jan, passed away Sunday morning after deteriorating several years from Alzheimer's. Bob has taken great care of Jan in their home in Fayetteville since her diagnosis not long after Greg passed away.

Of course I am happy her troubles have ended, but selfishly will miss a very important person in my life and my kids'. Jan was a pleasant gal to be around and I have been most fortunate to have had wonderful in-laws.
