Everyone knows that eBay blocks the usernames...right? But, typically, they use the same "name" (for example x***x) for all transactions, don't they?

I had a bid on an auction earlier tonight and noticed this...

This is the page showing the bids...notice that one bidder -***i (21) placed several bids, trying to find my top bid (which was 33.33)...

Since he didn't have a lot of eBay activity (only 21 feedback points) I was curious, and clicked on his name for more information...and it shows the bidder as b***r (21). Weird?? I expected it to show the same bidder "name" as it showed on the bid page "_***i (21)" So...he pushed me to my maximum bid, but I won by 33 cents...!
