I was wondering if you are a member of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. I have a good friend who has been an active collector of Mercedes-Benz cars for many years. He's currently on the MBCA National Board of Directors, Director-at-Large, and the Communications Committee Chairman. He's the only person I know personally that owned a Gull Wing. He loved the car - it won numerous awards at car shows - but he didn't like driving it in the summer. The windows in the wings don't roll up or down...it would get pretty hot inside the car!
