Here's a chip found at the Convention, maybe in a bargain bin from Fred Hempel or Mike Spinetti. Dark blue Paulson, H&LCV, hot-stamped in gold, denomination on the other side. Couldn't find it on ChipGuide so I went looking further. Found a Blackpool Poker Council but they're in Great Britain, so why have a chip in Dollars? Next, some mention of BPPC on a Hungarian website - not going there! Then, I thought of South America and turned up a Bahia Principal Punto Caña time-share resort in the Dominican Republic. A casino is there (or nearby) but no mention of chips with those letters.

I finally pulled out my dog-eared Gaming Table, and there it is: Bally Park Place Casino, fumjoizy. But if that's so, how come nobody posted it on the Guide? A gift shop item? Tournament chip? Does anyone know more about it?
