Totally agree with all your observations as I'd say the same. Uber is definitely the only way to travel in Vegas, most of the hotels now mark their Uber ride share areas much better then they did in years past. The Rio WSOP seemed much better organized...I ran card dead the entire trip so my poker game was pathetic this trip but did very well at Black Jack everywhere I went. I like to play Black Jack Switch on occation but noticed it was gone from most all the casino's ...dealer told me the casino's were loosing money on it. The new game called Zapit Black Jack was at Aria and was a lot of fun...plays like Black Jack but you can "zap" or get rid of your initial 2 cards if they are a hard 15-18 once all the cards are dealt to better your hand against dealer up card. You can only "zap it" once a hand and house pushes the table on "22" , but interesting and strategic game. As most of us know the food at the South Point is excellent and nothing much compares on the strip which is way overpriced and very poor.
