Thanks Ross - the last options sounds interesting

What I'm after though is the best way from Strip (Paris) to the McCarren Rent-a-car garage. My preference after the flight is just to get a cab from the airport to the hotel as its quick and easy and then pick up a car a couple of days later. Previously I have paid the small premium to collect a car from the hotel rent a car desk, but this time the difference is significant - I can get a full size premium from Alamo for £450 including all taxes and charges, but Hertz want between £800 and £900 from the hotel (although still over £750 with them from the airport!). Just seeing if there is an alternative to getting a cab back from the hotel to the rent a car garage at the airport?
