As the Canadian here, I've had the least trouble with something like "plastic game pieces". Words to be avoided seem to be "poker chips, casino and gambling"...the worst were tokens described as "silver gambling coins"....I had a lot of explaining to do at my end to customs who didn't know how to charge me duty, and were unconcerned that the tokens were not actually silver.

Just describe as "poker chips"
