I finally found a phone number, and got a "case number" (at least I think that's what they called it).
I only had to hold for about two minutes before a representative was on the phone with me.
She had me go to my watch list, then to one of the items on the list. She watched the item at her end, while I tried to place a bid...and nothing happened.
She then had me switch from Safari to Chrome, and we did the same thing...with the same results.
She then had me clear my cache, then we did the same routine...with the same results.
Apparently I'm the only person to have this problem...and the problem actually started for me a little more than 24 hours ago!
Next she had me leave eBay.com, and go to eBay.CA...which is eBay Canada. I was able to place a bid through that site. Once placed, I was able to increase my bid through eBay.com
I was on the phone for about 20 minutes. While not fully resolved, at least there's a work around . Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
