Very well stated Steve, all members need to keep in mind a couple things. One is the editors have many other things to do in life and secondly that this is a volunteer position(not paid). I personally still work(way too early to retire) and run a 3 day numismatic convention in April which takes much of my time up. Once the convention finishes, i start on the magazine and go hard at it for a month. I was able to get this years convention issue out 2 weeks earlier than last year.
Just so everyone is aware of the timing, the magazine was sent to the printer on May 22, it was ready for my approval on May 24 which was done by the next day after making a few minor changes. The printer then sent me a message that the issue was mailed out on June 2. So based on the email and the previous threads on the USPS, some may get it a day or two after and some will be many days after. As of this message we are at 12 days after mailing with one week to go until the convention start.
