Suggest putting the Convention Schedule in the 1st issue of the magazine not the 2nd issue, that way the arrival of the magazine would comply with the club's By-Laws -

"III. CONVENTIONS AND MEETINGS
The Club shall conduct an annual meeting and convention, and shall announce the same in the official Club periodical more than thirty (30) days in advance of the meeting and convention. The Club may also meet officially at any time upon the call of the President or three (3) other members of the Board. The same thirty (30) day notice shall be given to the membership. The Board of Directors and officers shall correspond from time to time to prepare an advance agenda for the public meetings of the Club."

I wanted to meet with Charles Kaplan concerning some of my requests - now I can not meet him as I have a Doctors appointment the morning of the 23rd. As you know doctors appointments are very hard to get, sometimes 5 - 8 weeks out.

Members in foreign countries may not get thier Magazine until the convention has started.
