AOL informed me this morning, that the AOL software I've been using all these years will be discontinued in 30 days.

But all is not lost. For a fee, I can have AOL gold. I don't think so.

Can anyone recommend a free service that I can use that you are happy with?

How much work is involved with changing over to a new service, and letting all my AOL contacts know I've moved?

Is there a service that will do this for me for a reasonable fee?
