Looking to purchase a new tablet to download by Collector's Assistant software to.

I'm not totally proficient with this software yet but I'm getting better at using it. I have it installed on my main home computer. If I can download it to a tablet I'll take this the the Convention for ease of use.

Any recommendation "do's or don'ts" with tablet selection or using this software for this purpose?

My main computer is an HP where my current software is installed so I'm likely staying away from an Ipad unless this does not matter?

I'm thinking I can find a tablet under $300 for this purpose hopefully.
