to do its job...something that they have done quite well since I've been a member. You do understand that the more things that the BoD has to put forth to the membership for vote costs both time and money? And for what?? So maybe a fifth of the membership will take the time & effort or even care enough to vote? The name change is a well thought-out attempt by the BoD to make this club more visible and more accessible in an effort to expand the reach of this hobby. I applaud our Board of Directors -- and ALL of the club's volunteers -- for donating their time & efforts towards doing whatever they can to improve the standing & visibility of both the hobby and the club.
