It was a balmy late Sunday afternoon when Brenda and I saw a flea market sign, so we went into the building in the center of town for a looksee. Don't recall if it was a VFW, or American Legion or some other fraternal organization building, but we strolled the aisles of 15-20 tables, finding a couple of casino advertising items. As the hour was approaching for the end of the sale, we were amazed that the entire contents of each table was being auctioned off. A whole table of clothes, or toys, or kitchenware, started off at bids of only $5-$10. If I were a local I would have purchased a couple of tables of stuff ... and donated it to a local charity. Never saw that happen here back east.
