Finding NEW messages on TheChipboard

Here is an easy method of finding the messages on this bulletin board that you have not yet viewed with your browser. I find it handy because the board has been so busy lately and I look at 2 days of posts in case I have been busy and haven't checked in every day.

If you are using a PC with WINDOWS 7 operating system, this method works. If you are using an Apple device, there is probably a similar technique but this isn't it.

Open a search box on your PC by keying in Ctrl F

Type into the search box NEW:

That's what the software puts on each line that to indicate you haven't viewed it yet. Note that it
is only flagging posts that haven't been viewed on your screen, not that you have necessarily
opened. These appear in Red on my screen and probably on yours as well. However, other
flags also appear in red (like - S O L D -) so you can't just page down looking for Red text.

You can step through the NEW: posts by hitting enter on your keyboard.

I just discovered this technique today so if David makes changes to the b.b., it may not work any more grin.
