Meanwhile, below is a gathering story from me. Your call to use it whenever.
I still do a fair amount of travel for work, and, depending on where I’m going, my wife will go with me. She particularly likes the west coast cities (we’re in Massachusetts) but some other places appeal to her. However, regardless of where my travels take me, to the extent possible, I will do some gathering based on what the Chipguide tells me I’m missing (but I always ask just in case!). I also try to do some sightseeing along the way, especially when my wife is with me. Last fall we were in Portland Oregon for a meeting and, after the meeting, drove to the Oregon coast then inland to Crater Lake (one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the world) and then to Warm Springs and back to Portland. Picked up a couple of chips along the coast and then, in Warm Springs (Indian Head) got not only their new(ish) $1.00 but also a couple of $5.00 which were not in the Chipguide (since posted). All in all, a very nice trip for the scenery and for chippin’.

SMITH RIVER CASINO IS LOCATED RIGHT ON THE CALIFORNIA AND OREGON BORDER ON US HIGHWAY 101. THIS IS REALLY UP IN THE FAR REACHES OF CALIFORNIA; FAR, FAR AWAY FROM WHERE THE AVERAGE VACATIONER OR TRAVELER VENTURE.
NANCY AND I WERE ON OUR ONE MONTH VACATION JUST PRIOR TO BEING MARRIED IN LAKE TAHOE IN THE YEAR OF 2007. IT WAS RAINING AS IT DOES FREQUENTLY IN THIS AREA, SO WE PULLED INTO AN AUXILLARY PARKING LOT, WHERE OUR RV WAS THE ONLY VEHICLE PARKED. (I LIKED THE EASY IN AND OUTS WHEN DRIVING THAT 32 FOOT MONSTER.) WE PUT ON OUR SLICKERS AND GRABBED AN UMBRELLA AND HEADED OVER TO THE CASINO.
MANY OF THE SMALLER CASINOS ARE BUILT LOG CABIN STYLE, AS I REMEMBER IT THIS WAS A VERY NEWLY BUILT (REBUILT) CASINO AND WAS VERY PLEASING TO THE EYE. UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME AS YOU INDIAN CASINO CHIP COLLECTORS KNOW THIS WAS TO BECOME THE LUCKY 7 CASINO WITH A NEW RACK OF CHIPS IN 2012. I WENT ABOUT PICKING OUT THE BEST CONDITION 50c, $1 & $5 CHIPS I COULD WHILE PLAYING BLACKJACK, AND WE ENJOYED OURSELVES VERY MUCH AS WE WAITED OUT THE RAIN. WE STAYED AS LONG AS WE COULD, HAD A BITE TO EAT AND GOT ON THE ROAD AND HEADED TOWARDS FLORENCE, OR.
I BELIEVE I GOT ENOUGH OF THE LANGWORTHY CHIPS TO LAST AT LEAST 5 YEARS, BUT THAT AREA IS ONE PLACE I WOULD GO BACK TO IF THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF. IT IS SO GREEN AND BEAUTIFUL THERE…REGGIE

I SCRAMBLE THE PAGES IN A RANDOM MATTER.
IT WILL TAKES 42 DAYS, BUT NOT CONSECUTIVE. IT WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 2 ½ - 4 MONTHS FOR ONE CYCLE. MY NEW PLAN IS I WILL DISPLAY A “PAGE” (WHICH WILL REALLY BE 4-7 PAGES) WHEN I CAN. AND START ALL OVER AFTER THE 42 POD’S HAVE BEEN SHOWN. EACH POD GETS UP DATE AS NEEDED.
