I was the winning bidder of the lot (78 chips total) of the Las Vegas Gunnery Meet, March 1990 that was offered on ebay. I went in with another collector of military items only. He took 5 sets and I took one set for a total of 18 chips total.
This leaves 60 chips left as follows:
12 Dark Green
15 Red
33 Yellow
These chips were made out of Bakelite, and as such, deteriorate over time. They had a silver hot stamp applied and due to wear and time, they are in from bad to almost totally unreadable condition as far as the hot stamp is concerned. Having said that, the chips them selves are in generally good condition with no cracks, breaks, or other deformations. Over time, the condition of these chips will only get worse not better! To be fair to everyone, I have place the chips in small brown paper bags, and if you order any, I will merely pull out a chip from the appropriate bag without looking at them and you get what you get.
There are of course a total of 12 complete sets available of all 3 colors. And individual chips of the other two colors. For complete sets, one set per customer and for the remaining colors, one Red chip per person and two Yellow chips per person. If you want more than the above limits, let me know when you order and if there are any chips left available come next Sunday, I will contact you.
Price per SET (3 chips) is $15 postpaid in the US and $5 per individual chip, again postpaid within the US. If you live overseas, and which to purchase some, contact me and I will try my best to figure out actual postage cost.
Given that these chips are now over 65 years old, that they survive at all, in in less than ideal condition is at least nice for those who collect this type of chips.
Paypal as a "gift" to my email address, or if you do not have a paypal account, check or money order for club members, and cash for anyone!
