I was at the Rio last week and one of the bars has the new green light/red light system for Video Poker. It is just to prevent scammers who will throw a $20 bill in and order a drink and play one stinking quarter and leave..That's basically it..If you are playing you have no problem.but tips are just the right thing to do or the bartender might opt to pass you by if you are that cheap not to throw a single out there..
And should you pause a bit to watch the game on TV,or switch machines, they don't care if the light is red..This trip the tender recognized me from last September so never a need to speed up my play for another beer.
This is really nothing new-10 or so years ago a max bet of $1.25 was required (Machine shows red highlighted on the right) at some places to get a beer.
Much hoopla about nothing and I'm sure the SouthPoint is the same way,so take this with a grain of salt convention go-ers..
Although the WYNN NEVER comps bartop VP.
