Cindy for some reason got a free gateway computer (something to do with problems with the old E-machines) that had window 8 on it and after three years is still fighting it. The first thing I did was buy a program called "start 8" for $5 that converts the screen back to Windows 7 in appearance. That helps a lot but I hate to think what I am going to go thru when my machine finally dies.
