I saw you mention that your $1,000 chip might be only one of two in collections - what would be the value of that? Assuming it's a live chip and you paid face, do you think it is really worth that? If it is still live, I suppose it could be cashed in, but if it went obsolete, wouldn't the value be much (MUCH) less?

Honestly I have NO IDEA, that's why I'm asking. What is the value of say a $1,000 Aladdin Casino chip or some other recently defunct casino?

Of course, I always say, collect what you like! I guess having a unique collection might be worth it!
