Re: Chip Scan vs Photo
In Response To: Chip Scan vs Photo ()

I have always wondered why sellers on eBay use scans. Since I'm fairly new to collecting, I have on more than one occasion bought a chip I already have in my collection. I always compare what I have to what is being sold and if it doesn't look exactly the same, I will bid on it, only to find out when it arrives, it is the exact same chip. This just happened to me this week. I usually just add them to my traders, but it's still disappointing to not get a new addition to my collection. I don't know why you don't just take a picture every time. In my experience, decent pictures don't lose the colors like scans sometimes do. Just my 2 cents.
