Thanks, Don, it DOES look like a Fairmont

The vendor who sold it to me said, between bites of a very messy sandwich (more in his beard than in his mouth) that he doubted it was a poker chip but more likely from a home set or perhaps a roulette chip. He was likely thinking of it being from Table F someplace.

No card games at any of the Fairmonts, that I know of. Ooooh. Cards are soooo way beneath them! I cannot shake the feeling that the chip might have been a parking-pass for use by a visitor or conference attendee as a courtesy. That, or a free towel at the cabana.

Only way to know for sure is to present the chip at the Santa Monica Fairmont, and see what I get! (Aside from a boot out the door.)
