I've played in games in Australia and Mexico that take 5% with no max. For example, $50 out of a $1000 pot. I go to London about 6 times a year, and the great game they deal at the Hippodrome is 5%, 10 pounds max. In these games you must play very few hands and employ hit and run. In London, last year, my wins to losses ratio was 2-1, and my biggest win was way more than my biggest loss. I agree that you can't sit and play all night though.
