This piece is 37 mm in diameter and is 7 mm thick. It has a slightly rounded top and slightly tapered sides. I am guessing it might have been the top of a cane or walking stick. I did not do the needle test to verify that it is ivory so perhaps it is not? The thistles on the borders might suggest that it may be of Scottish origin.
In any case is is very cool.
