My wife is a travel agent, here is her view. When a flight is oversold, they should never begin boarding until seating is resolved. The airline should never have to remove a passenger once they are properly seated on the plane. When a passenger is removed, they also have to find the passenger's luggage in the storage bay and remove it too. That delays everyone. Just an indication of a poorly managed company and arrogance. And the flight was NOT even oversold. The airline decided that it was more important that they get a crew of 4 on the flight so they could work another flight the next day than to get paying and seated passengers to their promised destination on time.
