Next clue. From the town you can see the middle of nowhere, on the couple of side roads I posted you ARE in the middle of nowhere. One of the Darkest Sky parts of the USA. The Night time speed limit road pic... 10 miles or so down that road you are in an area devoid of Light, Humans, Noise. No Glow "over the hill" at all. 2 of the almost 4 hours it took us to get back home to Las Vegas, we saw NO other cars! Not even off in the distance.

Next Hint: There is is no longer any gas station in the town (not for many years) The nearest gas is 60+ miles in one direction and well over 100 miles in the other direction! Once you get gas, then no more gas for 70+ miles until you get back to I-15.

Last Hint. Not US 50 from Carson City to Ely, that has the same lack of Gas issues. That's the Loneliest Highway in America. This one is a close 2nd.
