Below is a picture of the redemption policy that was posted at the Taj just a day or two before they closed. Under the 3rd heading, "Gaming Vouchers and Gaming Chips" it clearly states chips from Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Plaza can be redeemed at Tropicana Atlantic City's casino cage beginning at 8:00 AM on October 10, 2016. There was no deadline shown for redemption of Trump Plaza chips.

"I got a few numbers for the Casino Control Commission"

The best advise I got was from striking Taj employees on the picket line who sent me to the Casino Control Commission offices on Tennessee Avenue at the Boardwalk. The people there were extremely helpful and not only had the answers but actually showed me the written regulations.
