I'd recommend that you not store them in the foam holders.

We have some older dice that were stored in foam holders, and there was a chemical reaction between the dice and the foam...it left an imprint of the foam on the dice. Today's dice aren't made of the same materials as the older dice, so it might not be a problem...but I wouldn't take the chance.

These weren't in foam holders, they've just deteriorated from age...
