for salegambling poker movie lobbycard INSIDE STRAIGHT

for sale I never bother to sell movie lobby cards here, but I thought this one might appeal to some of you. The title has a poker term (Inside Straight), and this is the only lobby card of the set (8 lobby cards to a set) that has a gambling-playing card scene. Suitable for framing. $13 plus $3 postage =$16 total. Return privileges. PayPal OK (email me first). Picture of the lobby card is below.

Best lobby card (#4) of the set, and great for gambling movie memorabilia collector, and it shows all of the main characters (except Arlene Dahl); you see David Brian, Barry Sullivan and Mercedes McCambridge, and playing cards (and some chips, it seems) on the table. And with a poker-theme title like that ("Inside Straight") and poker-playing a big part of the plot, how can a gambling collector resist this lobby card?

I collect gambling-scene lobby cards (have about 750 of 'em). I don't need this one because I just bought a complete set of 8!

The lobby card comes in a premium crystal clear POLYPROPYLENE lobby card sleeve with an archival lobby card backing.

Condition: excellent to very fine, no problems. I have put an old picture below of another of the same lobby card. The lobby card you will receive is even BETTER than that picture -- it is excellent, has no pin holes in the corners!

Rip MacCool has learned early in life that "money talks" (and other stuff walks), as does the audience via flashbacks, and when he arrives in San Francisco, he has no qualms about being ruthless in business, and his first fast-deal bilks Ada Stritch out of her hotel. A combination of shrewd deals and playing the stock market builds him a financial empire. He marries Lily Douvane, who presents him with a child, but Lily has some ambitions of her own and leaves him, taking a sizable chuck of his money on the way out. He soon marries Zoe Carnot, his son's nurse, loses and wins a fortune again, but sinks into gloom when Zoe dies giving childbirth. He keeps piling up the money and he soon as most of it in San Francisco, and there is about to be a run on the bank, operated by Ada Stritch (from way back there), and the city and its citizens face ruin. Rip puts up his fortune against the bank and a hand of cards dictates winner-takes-all., per IMDb.

TV Guide review: "McCambridge owns a bank in 1870 San Francisco. A run on the bank is threatened and rich man Brian is called to help stem the spread of panic throughout the town. He and McCambridge meet in her home to play cards, with the bank as the stakes. During the game, Brian tells his life story to
her. His story shows him as a ruthless man more interested in money than people. Dahl is his first wife, who cheats him out of some money and runs off. Raymond, his second wife, dies in childbirth. The film ends with Brian leaving McCambridge's home without revealing his hand to her or to the
audience. Brian turns in a fine performance despite the overwritten script and lagging direction. McCambridge puts in a solid performance and absolutely seethes in her hatred for Brian".
