If you were attacked by a ransomware virus and do not have a good backup, the only way to get your system back is to pay the ransom. Files are encrypted with advanced techniques that cannot be decrypted unless you have the encryption key. Even a computer "genius" cannot decrypt your system without the key. The ransomware removal tools only remove the ransomware from your system, they do not recover the lost files.

If you have online backup, your provider might be able to get you a previous version of your system. Just go to the last backup before the ransomware went into effect.
