The answer is NO, and you took a risk by buying a ticket and you hoped that your ticket was a winner.
It's just a "blind" auction, you hope that you win the bigger ticket items but you just might end up with $30 of stuff (for $50 (including shipping). The more you win the better the chances you will hit a higher valued bag.
You note in the auction that winner pays for shipping (and discounts on more items won).
I personally would drop $300 on ten bags (plus shipping) with the chance to win $150 in one bag.
Remember, this is to help the club so people tend to spend a little more to take the chance.
You could also give the individuals the opportunity of just buying the auction and donating back to the club for next years auction.
