Most of them I've seen lately at Pechanga are worn down to whitish. There is an elevator to the Poker Room. But one has to go up the stairs to the second floor to see the doors. Where it goes back down to, I have no idea. When the new hotel is finished, my suspicion is, there will be new chips on the tables, or at least a new $5 to commemorate the great event.
Be glad you got to park in the new parking lot. Prior thereto, with all the construction taking up the former ample parking area, one had to park to the south, behind the gas station. A shuttle bus would whisk you to the casino. Eventually. First it had to circle around the campsite, to pick up and drop off the trailer-dwelling guests. Every trailer family has at least one pack of dogs, or coyotes, or wolves, which would run up to the shuttle to menace driver and passengers.
