It's not for me to say, but without a local (LV) service I hope that the local chip club (Christ, I became a member when Joe dragged me to a meeting at the Gold Cost last year and I don't even know the club name) will do something (moment of silence, memorial resolution or?) to recognize Joe's passing.

I'll leave it to the club leadership to decide. Whatever is done, I believe Joe's family s/b notified.
