Just learned of this - seems impossible. I met Joe at Casinorama just a few weeks ago. He came wandering by while I was talking to David Spragg about our mutual candidacies for Club Secretary. And Joe blurted out, in what I guess was more-or-less his fashion, "I think Eric would make a much better Secretary!" I was a bit embarrassed by his brash comment, David (I hope) took it in stride. (At this point I had already made a decision to stand down and let David continue in his position.)

I didn't know the Creeper very well, we had met at the last Convention, but I always enjoyed reading his posts of the "dirt" in Las Vegas. Which casino had just been robbed, who did what, and of course, his chip finds. Don't know why he was the Creeper - maybe because he sort of crept up on people and things about town?

But I for one am going to miss the guy. Big time.
