Yes. I remember that auction. I looked hard for a chip I needed. Disappointed as usual.

If there was a chip I needed you would still have gotten those chips.

I have not checked the die cut records. I would not be surprised if they also ran from 1911-1938.

Why do you say acetate. I assumed the inlays on die cuts would also be celluloid (cellulose nitrate). The die cuts would only be a single layer (although I never checked into it) and not a sandwich.
